With a bit of a smirk, it is still worth pointing out the territorial conflicts that actually take place ONLY on stamps. It happens from time to time that country borders are incorrectly represented on stamps with maps. This results in protests from the "disadvantaged" countries and usually leads to the withdrawal or correction of the corresponding stamps. This is not based on a real political conflict. Examples include Italy's "Gronchi rosa" (protested by Peru), Argentina's national products stamp (protested by Chile, Peru and Ecuador) and Dominican Republic, Hispaniola map (protested by Haiti).
